It’s Official!!
We have officially been named the parents of Bradyn Michael Lee! After an hour and a half of grueling courtroom proceedings, sweating bullets, and on the verge of passing out, we were given parental custody. After all the court formalities, we were asked to wait in the hall for the judges decision…it was at most a 2 minute wait, but it felt like 5 years!! The ten day waiting period was not waived, so we will get to pick him up on the 28th and he will be ours forever!!! In the mean time we will get to visit him three times, and we will be celebrating our wonderful news! Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers…we definitely felt it!!

Congratulations. I'm sorry to hear that the days weren't waived and you didn't receive immediate custody. I know how much you are ready to snuggle that precious little neck.
Enjoy Vlad and I look forward to hearing more about your visits at the orphanage. Just look at this time as having more opportunities to ask questions, if needed.
Congratulations on such an emotional day! Sorry to hear the 10 day wait was not waived, but this will give you the chance to become parents slowly. I look forward to the news of the visits.

How awesome!!! I am so excited for you and Mike. Finally the LONG "16 month pregnancy" is over and the fun begins! I'm sorry to hear about the 10 days, but my best advice is to use them to rest up because there will be constant chasing and lost sleep from here on out. Congrats!!! Rachelle
