Life as Parents
Here is a photo that we took on the "Fog, a Shovel, and a Cookie" day.
Mike and I slept on both edges of the bed last night as our little one tossed and turned. I wasn’t able to fall asleep from all the excitement and Mike wasn’t able to stay asleep, waking up at 3:30 am. We both relished in the little sucking sounds Bradyn made. He sucks his first two fingers, while rubbing a pink hankie from the baby home on his face. Our morning call began with the smell of overloaded diaper. So, a bath was in order, however, he DOES NOT like baths even though he loves playing in the bathroom. The bath lasted about 2 minutes and then a struggle to get him dressed. Once he was dressed, the tears stopped and he was off playing! Breakfast is a favorite time, as well as, snacks, lunchtime, dinnertime, and car rides. After breakfast we had to go and pick up his passport and take him to the doctor. The doctor wanted us to take his clothes off…yeah right…we just got his clothes on!! (Remember, Russian culture has you dress babies with MANY layers). We all survived the doctor visit and then we were off to get his passport. What a treasure his passport is!! We returned to the hotel for lunch and lots of playing. Mike is getting sick, so he decided to take a little nap, but Bradyn wouldn’t let him. Brady would open the door to the bedroom and wave paka to Mike, over and over again. So adorable! The evening time became a struggle, as Brady isn’t feeling well either. Hopefully the boys will be feeling better tomorrow because we leave Vladivostok for Moscow. Each day brings us closer to home.

Welcome to parenthood, the hardest job you'll ever love.......
and definitely the most rewarding.
Bradyn is a very luck little boy to get you two as his parents, likewise you are very lucky too.
It'll get easier once you are in your own home and can get to a routine that fits everyone.
We love you, keep up the good work..
Mom & Dad Grandma & Grandpa
we love you all every day is going to get easyer every day you both are good parents and he is so cute
cant wait to read more love kevin shelia
I get so tickled that he does not like the bath. I do think this is much better than not liking the car or eating. At least, you can take quick baths.
So sweet to think of him sleeping b/w you. Isn't God good!!
I loved the description of how he sleeps sucking his fingers and holding his hankie. I really hope Mike and Bradyn don't get sick before you get home. Flying might not be so fun. Lots of O.J.!
It sounds like a lovely family!

Sorry to hear the Lee boys aren't feeling well. And to think I took my traveling medicine box home with me -- I was well stocked!!
Feel better -- can't wait to hear about Moscow and your SHORT stay!
We are so excited for your family!!! I love the pictures of Brady! He is SO CUTE!!! He really does look like you both!
I was just gathering pieces of our "flip-n-play" table that is similar to the one listed on your Target registry. I would love to send it to you -- I'll send you a link but you should be able to copy and paste this in your browser:

We bought it when Cal was born and it is one of my FAVORITE TOYS! Cal and I spent about an hour making a cardboard box for sending it... It was actually a fun project! I'll send you an e-mail about it when you get home and you can let me know if you want it. Trust me - you do ;)
Love,
Suzanne
Congratulations! Bradyn is so cute! I know you are so excited, and I remember not being able to sleep for being so excited when we got our son, too! I hope that Mike feels better!
Good luck today. It is Friday over there, 6 AM...get up Mike. Our fingers are crossed that all goes well and you are able to come home soon.
Love Ryan and Ineke
Heidi, the time finally came, just when you thought you could wait no longer. Bradyn is a very blessed little boy. Home will never be the same again. No privacy, not even in the bathroom, fingerprints everywhere, and toys being stepped on. I wouldn't change it for anything. Don't forget to have him suck on something during the take offs and landings. They didn't for our Kylee, and I guess she screamed with an ear ache the entire 16 hour flight. Be sure to bring him to school for show and tell right away. Love you you all, Jeannie
